From the time you first arrive
in Kake you will notice our great diversity of wildlife. The Bald
Eagles nest in the trees and soar high in the sky stalking their
prey. Not only do they nest in the trees but they watch for their
prey from the bulks. There are two streams that run through town,
where you could find dozens of Black Bears. A bridge passes over
these rivers making it extremely easy to take close up photos.
